Late Araoye: Our Matriarch is gone ~ Children

In a widely adjudged befitting burial accorded Chief (Mrs) Victoria Olusola Araoye the late wife of Chief Araoye, the Aromuagun of Ilawe Ekiti on Friday, 28th April, 2018 at her country home residence.

An economist, Mr. Akintayo Araoye who addressed the team of Newsmen present at the event which took place at the Corpus Christi College playground, on behalf of the family, could not hold back his tears while describing the deceased as a rare gem whose vacuum may never be filled.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti who led the league of other Royal Fathers to the event, as represented by High Chief Gbenga Agbono declared that the entire Ilawe (male and female) chiefs will miss the late Chief Mrs Araoye for her humility and uprightness.
